Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Conditions

Any booking made by individuals whether through the company’s website or otherwise, shall be deemed as an offer by you to purchase the relevant package or other travel arrangement subject to these booking conditions.

No contract between you and Manta Tours & Travel shall come into existence until Manta Tours& Travel accepts full payment and issues a confirmation invoice. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party.

Booking services with Manta Tours & Travel are currently only available to persons who are at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult. By submitting a booking, you warrant and confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements.

Terms of Payment

Accepted payment methods: Manta Tours & Travel accepts  Bank transfer for bookings made at least 30 days in advance.

Payment at the time of booking: Manta Tours & Travel charges a deposit payment or the full amount at the time of booking depending on when and what type of package is booked:

Please note that for bookings made 30 days or less prior to the arrival date, the operator or the individual has to make the bank transfer at the time of booking.

Rooms booked more than 30 days before arrival and 30 days or less before arrival: Manta Tours & Travel charges a deposit of 100% of the total price at the time of booking. Please note that for bookings with short notice, the availability of all services will need to be confirmed by our suppliers before the Rooms can be confirmed. You will be notified of any relevant changes prior to the issuing of a confirmation invoice.

Packages on special offer: For certain promotions you may be required to pay in full at the time of booking to redeem the discount. (Terms vary by offer.) Standard payment terms apply to all special offers unless otherwise noted.

Custom bookings: For packages that have been customized by a travel consultant, you can pay the full payment (100%) at the time of booking.

Note: Some of our holiday packages do have stricter payment rules, and in those cases the specific information will be stated in the package details online.

Payment processing: All payment receipts are issued by email. In the case of delayed payment, Manta Tours & Travel reserves the right to treat this as a cancellation of the booking and withdraw its confirmation of the services.

Validity of Prices

All rates quoted or shown in our tariffs are based on current prices and are subject to change without prior notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes or any such cost increase that is beyond Manta Tours & Travel’s control. If an incorrect price has been posted in error, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel, amend or limit any order placed at the incorrect price.

Manta Tours & Travel reserves the right to notify you of any increase to prices already published in our pricelists, brochures or website.

After the final invoice has been issued, the price is guaranteed against any surcharge, unless an increase is due to government laws or currency changes.

Cancellation 

For all cancellations, Manta Tours & Travel will make every effort to ensure the best protection for you. However, late cancellation can result in compensation claims from hotels and Resorts.  All cancellations must be sent to Manta Tours & Travel in writing, by e-mail.

Manta Tours & Travel is obliged to charge customers cancellation fees at a percentage of the full price, as follows: 

Cancellation Charges:

Notice of cancellation  – Individual Bookings

Manta Tours & Travel has the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the room rate (excluding Government Tax) if the Operator notifies Manta Tours & Travel in writing of the cancellation within 31 days’ Notice of cancellation. 30 days or less and No-show, 100% of the room rate (excluding Government Bed Tax) for the whole period of the reservation will be charged.

Notice of cancellation – Groups (10 or More)

Manta Tours & Travel has the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the room rate (excluding Government Tax) if the Operator notifies Manta Tours & Travel in writing of the cancellation within 41 days’ Notice of cancellation. For 40 days or less and No- Show, 100% of the room rate (excluding Government bed tax) for the whole period of the reservation will be charges.

Please note that cancellation rules are stricter than normal for the following services: accommodation, excursions, and dive sessions at hotels and Resorts. Therefore, Manta Tours & Travel cannot refund any of these services booked through us. 

Some of our holiday packages do have stricter cancellation rules, and in those cases the information will be stated in the package details online.

Please note that cancellation by client(s) within a group may either result in a price increase for the whole group or a cancellation fee being charged to the client(s) who has cancelled.

Changes to Bookings

All requests for changes to a booking must be made in writing by Email from the person who submitted the booking. Additional supplier costs may still apply depending on the change(s) requested.

Special Offers – Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all Special Offers on (www.mantatravelsmaldives.com) in conjunction with our standard booking terms for all Manta Tours & travel packages:

  • Applies to new bookings only
  • Not valid in combination with any other discounts or promotions (unless mentioned by the supplier)
  • Valid only for standard packages as listed on the website or sent to you by email
  • Discount will be deducted from the total price at time of booking

Early Bird Offers – Terms & Conditions

  • Below are terms and conditions for the Early Bird offers:
  • For new bookings only.
  • Not valid for packages and special offer or in combination with other offers (unless mentioned by the supplier).
  • Discount does not apply for additional nights, activities or days.
  • Discount will be displayed and calculated in the total price or for one night price during the booking process (depending on what Resort & Hotels have mentioned to our company).
  • Bookings of packages with the Early Bird discount are not commissionable for third-party travel agents.

 

Invoice & Voucher Delivery

All travel documents are sent as PDF documents attached in an email. 

When you arrive to the Airport, you can also collect hard copies of the travel documents upon arrival, either from the person receiving you from the airport or at the hotel.

Liability 

Manta Tours & Travel claims no responsibility for any loss caused beyond Manta Tours & Travel’s control. We acts in good faith, and cannot be held responsible for any agent or operator’s acts, defaults or delays.

Our goal is to provide excellent customer service and in order to do so we maintain strict quality monitoring. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your holiday package, we want to hear about it. We recommend you contact us as soon as any incident arises. If you are unable to do so at the time, you must advise Manta Tours & Travel in writing as soon as possible.

All information in the website is subject to change. Manta Tours & Travel reserves the right to alter mistakes that may possibly appear in the website or published price lists.
